An all-day meeting of the Jona
than home demonstration club will
be held at the home of Mrs. K. W,
Howell on Friday, Pec. 6th. Each
member will' bring. a dish of food
to be served. for lunch.
Mrs. Joe Gill has been planting
trees and shrubs on her farm where
she expects to build a house in
the near future. She has also
just finished building a large wa
ter tank to furnish water for her
new home.
Several calves were bought from
farmers on Jonathan Creek last
week,, for 4-H club boys in Iredell
county. Dave Boyd, Jule Boyd,
Grady Howell and Tom Kainer
furnished the cattle. .
Electric pumps are being install
ed in the Methodist parsonage, and
in the homes of R. V. Howell,
Hardy Nelson and Fred" Allison,
A sock supper was held last week
at the Rock Hill school. The pro
ceeds will be used to buy books for
the school library.
