This institution has seen and survived the panic of 1907; World War No. 1; the real estate boom of 1924-1926; the crash of the stock market in 1929; the bank failures and depression of 1931 and 1932, and within the past year, Pearl Harbor, and all the restrictions it brought on. There have been dark days for this bank, along with the brighter ones, but the continued encouragement, and loyalty of our friends and customers, and our conservative arid progressive policies, have made us an institution today with resources of nearly TWO MILLION dollars. Our growth down through the years has been steady, and lasting. This bank did not mushroom into a big bank overnight It was over a period o f y ear s of gradual growth that brought us to our present size see the record below of the deposits by ten-year periods.
