Paul Reeves Home On Furlough Corporal Paul Reeves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reeves, of Cove Creek, who is on maneuvers in Tennessee, is spending a 12-day furlough with his parents. Cpl. Reeves has been in the ser vice since November 7, 1941, and was inducted at Fort Bragg. From Fort Bragg he was transferred to Fort Jackson and then to Camp Blanding. From the latter he was sent to Camp Gordon and from there to Tennessee. He is attached to the Field Artillery. Cpl. Reeves was educated in the county schools and prior to enter- mg the service was engaged in ! farming. Lt. Blalock Returns To Aviation Unit In Texas i I Lt. Thomas E. Blalock, son of Mr. ! and Mrs. T. L. Blalock, of Hazel jwood, left Sunday after spending ,a short leave here. Lt. Blalock has been in the ser vice since May, 1942, he recently I received his commission and bom bardier wings at Big Springs, Tex., and his navigator wings at San Marcas, Texas.
