Wilcox, of Lake Junaluska, has been assigned to active duty with the fighting Leathernecks, it was announced recently. He was or dered to lead Marines in battle after successfully completing the jugged officers' training course at the famous Marine Base at Quan tico, Va. Lieut. Wilcox attended Duke University, Durham. His wife, the former Alice Catherine McQueen, lives with their daughter, Cathe rine, in Fayetteville. Grand Ole Opry To Stage Show Monday A group from the WSM Grand Ole Opry will appear in person Monday, September ti, in a tent theatre next to the City Hall in Hazelwood.
