Army, somewhere in England. Pvt. Hartiell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hartzell of Hazel wood. He was inducted into ser vice at Fort Jackson on Jan. 15, 1943, and was laUr sent to Camp Young, Calif., then Camp Coxcomb, Calif., and Camp Maxey, Texas, then to a port of embarkation. Pvt Hartzell is a graduate of the local high school and prior to entering the service was employ ed by the Unagusta Manufactur ing company. Fred E. Davis, Jr Goes To Miami Beach Fred E. Davis, Jr., who Torm- teered in the service in December, 1943 and was inducted at Fort Bragg, is now stationed at Miami Beach, where he will start his pre aviation cadet training, having been accepted in the Army Air Force on Dec. 23, 1943. Kennedy, who is with the Ordnance department in the South Pacific has recently been promoted to his present rank from Frst Lieut. Capt.
