Miss Cora Mae Worley of Canton, recreational leader will have charge of the gathering following the de votional program which the host church will direct. Pvt. Brown To Aid Families Of Men In Service Mrs. J. C. Brown is in charge of the local work of the Woman's Volunteer Committee, of which Mrs. Frank W. Wilson is chairman at Moore General Hospital. The com mittee was organized by Mrs. Bre hen B. Somervel, wife of General Brehen Somervel, and has as its ob jective personal service to all de pendents of army or other service personnel in the community. Families are aided with their problems of allotments, insurance, arrangements for medical care and hospitalization, employment, hous ing and welfare. Lt. Eugene Quinllen, personal affair officer of Moore General hos pital, is chairman of the district in which Waynesville is included. A $25.00 War Bond will be awarded to the one who sends in the nickname that will be chosen. Ten additional prizes of $1.00 in War Stamps will be given to those who send in nicknames that re ceive honorable mention. Paul Young Is Honorably Discharged Private Paul Young, former taxi operator, has received a medical honorable discharge from the army and is back in town. Pvt. Young entered the service on April 7, of tlys yiar, and was inducted at Fort Bragg, where he was station ed during the time he was in the service. Pvt.
