J Mountaineers Take 2 Games Last Week The Waynesville Mountaineers had a very successful week last week in their basketball games, playing two teams and defeating both in both the boys and girls di visions. On Tuesday night of last week the local cagers defeated Clyde in a twin engagement, the Waynes ville girls coming out on top of a 38 to 20 score, and the boys de feating the Clyde boys, 30 to 16. Last Friday on the local court, Fines Creek bowed to Waynesville in two of the closest scores of the season. The local girls taking the visitors 24 to 21. The boys game went into extra time but the local lads came out on top of a 32 to 30 score. The Clyde game.
