Allen, 59. native of Buncombe county, who died at his home in the Nincvah section at 1 a. m. Monday. Rev. L. G. Elliott, pas tor of tlic First Baptist church. will officiate. Burial will be in the Love cemetery in Jackson county. Serving as pallbearers will be: Marion Davis. Harold Davis. Burt Finney, Wiley Williams and Rus sell Browning. Mr. Allen was employed bv the Southern Railway here for over twenty years. Surviving are five daughters. Mrs. Frank. Head, Mrs. Junius Da vis, Mrs. Eunis Hendrlx, and Misses Myrtle and Roxie Allen, all of Waynesville, and one son, John Allen, of Virginia. Lloyd Grasty Funeral services were conduct ed on Monday afternoon; at 2 o'clock at the Allen's Creek Bap tist church for Lloyd Grasty, 41. native of Haywood county, who died at the Haywood County Hos pital Saturday after a brief illness, ttev. C. L. Allen officiated. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery. Mr. Grasty was the son of John B. Grasty and the late Mrs. Grasty. He was employed by the Unagusta Manufacturing Company. Surviving, are his widow, Mrs. Clarine Henry, four sons, Kugene. Kenneth, James and llillie, one daughter, Kathcrinc; his father, one brother, a twin, Floyd Grasty; one sister, Mrs. Kthel Buchanan, all pf AlIciVs Creek. The Crawford Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Slip Cover Demonstration Here Monday A slip cover demonstration will be held in the court room in the court house on Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock, according to an announcement yesterday by the county Tiomc --agents. Miss Mary Margaret Smith alid Miss Jewel Graham. Miss Elizabeth Williams, assist ant specialist in home manage ment and house furnishings of the state extension service, will be in charge of the demonstration. The meeting will be open to the public and any person whether or not a member of the county Home Demonstration Clubs arc invited to attend.
