All members and visiting members are urged to attend the meeting. Miss Hawkins Of Canton Wedded To Lt. W. C. Smith Miss Audrey Lee Hawkins, of Canton, and Lt. William Crenshaw Smith, of Norfolk, Va., were mar ried on Friday in the Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in a double ring ceremony, with the pastor, the Rev. Charles Jones, officiating. Mrs. Smith is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Taylor Haw kins .of Canton. She is a graduate of the University of North Caro lina and the School of Medical Technology, of Watts Hospital, Durham. Lt. Smith, the son of Mrs. Alice Smith and the late Dr. Edward B. Smith, of Norfolk, is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College, Rich mond, Va., and the Duke University School of Medicine. Lt. Smith served in an evacua tion hospital with the Third Army in France, Germany and Austria. He has recently been dismissed from the General hospital. Hyatt Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Doris Pat terson, of Rosedale, to Lt. Thomas Edwin Hyatt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hyatt, of the Bethel section. The wedding was solemnized in a double ring ceremony in the Little Church Around the Corner in New York, with the pastor officiating. Members of the families attend ing were: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hyatt, parents of the bridegroom; Ser geant and Mrs. Fred Hyatt, the former a brother of the bride groom; Mrs. R. L. Patterson, mother of the bride, and Mrs. Elizabeth Patterson, aunt of the bride. Mrs. Hyatt attended Greensboro College and received further train ing at a business college in Raleigh. Lt. Hyatt is a graduate of the Bethel high school and the Univer sity of North Carolina. He has been in the service for three years. having spent 22 months in the European theater where he saw action in Italy, Sicily, and England.
