Mrs. W. F. Swift, re ent, presided. During the business session vari ous reports were presented by the officers and chairman, including that of Mrs. J. Harden Howell on Indian affairs. Garrett, of Pinno Grove. N. J., will begin a series of meetings at the Congregational Holiness church at Cove Creek on Sunday afternoon. September Z3. at 2.30. with services again in the evening. The public is invited to attend the meetings. Funeral Held Saturday For Louis White Funeral services were held Sat urday morning at the Wells Funer al Home in Canton at 10 o'clock for Louis White, who died sudden ly in the first aid room of the Champion Paper and Fibre Com pany Thursday. The Rev. E. P. Billups officiated. The body was taken to Macon. Ga., for burial. Active pallbearers were: R. E. Davis. M. D. Beck, J. E. Deas, Logan white, Joe King, and L. H. Hargrove. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ottis Owen White: three sisters. Mrs R E. Hawkins, of Tampa. Fla.. Mrs. W. A. Lt and Mrs. Keith Cooper have returned to Prnsacola. Fla., after spending two weeks visiting the lattcr's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Greer, of Hazelwood and the former's parents, Mr .and Mrs. W A. Cooper of Greensboro. A. Cooper is stationed at Pensacola where he is an instructor In the Air Corps. Miss Dottie Greer left last week for Cullowhee College where she will resume her work.
