Homer Brown Discharged After 22 Months Overseas Private Ktrst Class Homer Brown son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Brown, of Fast Waynesville, was discharged during the week from Fort Ogle liiorpe. Ga., after serving in the European theater. He entered the service in 1943 and was inducted at Camp Croft, and from there was sent to Indo, Calif., for desert training at the center there. Iff. Brown served in England, Frame. Belgium, and Germany! and was overseas for a period of 22 months. He was attached to the lOtith Division, and is entitled Jo wear trie Luropean Theater ribbon, with two battle stars, the Good Conduct medal -and the Infantry man's combat badge.
