1ST LIEUT. FRANK BYRD
The First Lieutenant is Frank Byrd, another veteran of
National Guard, State Guard and Regular Army, with more
than 11 years experience. He has been through the ranks,
and knows the work from the ground up. He was formerly
Captain, and then served in the Army as special instructor,
lie is an understanding and capable instructor on military
tactics.
Now in charge of the State Guard here, is Capt. Jim Davis,
who has just received his discharge from the Army, after
serving five years. He held the rank of Major for a long period
while in the army. He has had more than 16 years experience
in both National Guard and Regular Army. You'll enjoy being
in the State Guard with Captain Jim.
