Boosters To Meet Youth
Club In Tonight's Game;
Dayton Plays Veterans
I The Boosters club will meet the
! Youth club in the opener tonight
in softbull, with Dayton Rubber
meeting the Veterans in the sec
I oiul game of the evening.
Last night the Tannery was
; scheduled to have played High
School and the Lions meeting the
Veterans.
On Thursday Unagusta will meet
the Tannery for the opener, while
1YI Dairy meets the Youth club for
I he second game.
Games played Thursday and Fri
day included:
Last Thursday Dayton Rubber
won over the Lions 5 to 3, and Pet
Dairy won a close game over high
school 12 to 13.
On Friday the Veterans piled
up 21 runs over the Youth Club,
and the Boosters blanked out Una
gusta 15 to 0.

The Hazelwood baseball team I
won another game Saturday when i
the Canton team declared their in
ability to play, and defaulted.
The Hazelwood club will meet
the strong Enka team on (he local
field Wednesday afternoon at 4:30
to make up for the rained-out game
which was to have been the opener
of the season.
Hazelwood is still 1.000 per cent
in the win and lost column.
The schedule calls for the local
players to meet Beacon Mills on
the latter's field Saturday afternoon.
