Methodist church for Lester M. Barton, veteran of World War I. who died at Otcen Hospital at 1:15 p. in. Saturday. Rev. t R Ross, assisted by Rev. Jarvis Underwood, will officiate, liurial will be in the Dellwood cemetery. The Wayne.sville post of the American Legion will have charge of the graveside rites. Mr. Barton, who served overseas in World War I. was attached to the 1 121 1) Company of the Second Motor Mechanics Air Service. MINTZ Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at tne Church of (aid on North Main Street, Canton, for William Leroy Mintz, 17 son of Mr. and Mrs. William K. Mintz. of Canton, who died in an Atlanta hospital on Fri day afternoon, following a brief illi ess. Burial was in the Bon-A-Venture cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Ed ward Bradburn, ltoby Buchanan, James Towe. Kd Robinson, Willis Lanford. Fred Towe. Surviving are the parents, thhree sisters, Mrs. Roy Kdwards, and Mrs. Hobart Creasnian, of llazelwood. and Miss Helen Mintz, of the home: one brother, Paul Mintz, also of the home. Crawford funeral home was in charge of arrangements. MRS. NANCY K. KUYKLNDAL1. Following her death Saturday morning, Mrs. Nancy K. Kuyken dall, 51, of the Burnett Cove sec tion near Canton, was interred in the Ciwyn cemetery after funeral services Sunday afternoon at the Meadow Grove church. The R -v. Thomas Krvin and Rev. Oder Bur nett were in charge of the serv ices. Mrs. Kuykendall had been in failing health lor some time. She is survived by her husband, Char lie Kuykendall, one daughter, Miss Mayhur Kuykendall; a brother, ,loe Kuykendall; and a sister, Mrs. Ida Rcvis, all of Haywood county. Mrs. Long, who was a life long resident of Haywood counts, is sur vived by two daughters, Mrs. John M. Cathey, and Mrs. Annie Welch, both of Bethel section; one sister, Mrs. Tom Wells, of Haywood coun ty; two brothers, Harry and Jim Singleton, both of Haywood coun ty; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
