Around 35 guests have arrived
to spend their vacation at The
Moody Farm, popular summer r
sort, and there are quite a number
of guests at the Kendale Kaim,
another popular summer place in
this section.

discharged from the Navy and he
and his bride are making their
home for the present with his
mother, Mrs. Estelle Allison.
Mrs. Crews Moody had as her
guests over the week-end her niece.
Miss Uarbura Brandt and nephew.
Joe Brandt, of Asheville. Miss
Brandt was recently discharged
from the WAACS and Mr. Brandt
from the Air Corps. Both attend
ed the Waynesville Township
schools for several years.

Mrs. Joel Setzer and Betty Setzer
are visiting in Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith, of
Jacksonville, Fla., are the guests
of the former's mother, Mrs. Hubo
Smith.

charged from the Navy and are
both glad to be back home.
Tonie Janes, who has been in
an Asheville hospital for the past
several weeks is at home now and
reported to be doing nicely. His
small daughter, Sheila, who suf
fered a broken leg in a car acci
dent, is getting along fine, and
taking her plastic cast as a matter
of course.
TRAFFIC METER INSTALLED
A traffic meter to record the
amount of travel was placed on the
highway between Sylva and Dills-
boro last week by the state high
way commission. An "electric
eye" counts each vehicle as it
passes.
