BAUD CONCERTS
School band, under the direction of Freddie Martin, will give a
ert, starting at 10:00 o'clock, and playing throughout the morning

SINGING
CONTESTS
The famous Friendly Five singers of Asheville, and two leading quartetts
of Canton will be on hand to give a full program. The singing is under the
direction of W. T. Queen.
Starting at 1 :00 o'clock, there will he a varied program of athletic contests
under the direction of C. L Weatherby and Carl Ratcliff. There will be
prizes and contests for every age. Join in the fun . . . enter a contest.
SOFTBALL
SPEAKING
The League Leading Boosters Club Softball team will meet the best Canton
Softball team, the American Legion, under the lights at 7:30 o'clock. These
two teams will provide plenty of action and thrills.
At 11:00 o'clock, Monroe Redden, Democratic nominee for Congress from
this district will speak from (he Stadium, following a brief band concert.
