Funeral services for James R.
"L nele Jim" Rogers. 93. of the
Bethel section, one of the oldest
residents of Haywood county, were
conducted Thursday afternoon at
the Cruso Baptist church. The
Keys Oiler Burnett, Avery Peek
and Thomas Erwin officiated at the
service, and hurial was made in
tin cemetery
Grandsons served as pallbearers
and granddaughters were flower
bearers.
"I'ncle Jim" had been a lifelong
resident of Haywood county. His
death came Wednesday at his home,
lullowing a lengthy illness.
He is survived by the widow.
