It's Pelicious!
Lest We Forget that it took the sons of America to fight and die as
they did at Okinawa amid the chatter of rifles, the thump of mortars,
and the boom of guns at sea before the Japs surrendered to make pos
sible the first V-J Day August 14th. During this past year the armed
forces have demobilized its millions of wartime reservist personnel,
sending them back to civilian pursuits and fancies. But if Joe si ill
wants to finger a musket, there are the ducks and clav pipes at the
range on the midway.
