The care or sorrow or need which brought them there is not important. It is important that the experiences of a lifetime have taught them that God is their refuge and their strength. The beauty of faith" and of years of right living shines in their faces, and from this devout worship they will go forth stronger in spirit. For they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength'. But faith is not the exclusive possession of age, nor is spiritual wisdom contingent upon the experiences of a long life. From childhood to the grave, man may find hope and comfort and peace in God. For faith ban ishes fear, overcomes difficulties and imparts new life to the faithful. As human life grows more complex and dangerous, men need religion more than ever before. In the presence of vast powers hitherto unknown, they stand awed and many feel frustrated and helpless. Human problems lie heavy upon their spirits. But God is a Rock of Refuge and Pillar of Strength to those who trust Him. m Church la ,., "' building oi ' J, " ffrea, esf fcrclor Cn 7i i- . u ' chan-rrto. . v-"-,or On cart , f ' ,s a sforehouso nf a goJ citr;.r, .i-n on his series of ads is being published each week in The Mountaineer under the auspices of the Haywood Ministerial Association and is being sponsored by the following patriotic individuals and business establishments: BRADLEY'S SUPER MARKET Hazelwood CASH GROCERY Hazelwood McKAY'S PHARMACY Hazelwood H.
