TVA To Dispose Norris Dam Town KNOXVILLK, Tcnn. (JP) The Tennessee Valley Authority lias an nounced that the town of Norris. which it built as a model city, will be disposed of "in a year or so." Under the TVA act, the proper ties must be sold at public auction. H has not been decided whether the whole town will be sold as a single unit or houses and lots to individuals. Norris was built in 1933-35 to house workers on the Norris dam project. It contains 33G family dwellings, dormitory, administra tion building, school, post office, fire department and laboratories. The TVA said purposes, of the town had been realized and that disposition planned before the war had been deferred because of the housing shortage. Harvard University was founded in 1635.
