Giving Cold Wave
Requires Experts,
Tests Now Reveal
Due to the fact that "cold wav
ing is here to stay," every beauti
cian should keep up on the facts.
Those who operated early in the
beginning of permanent waving
can remember when a "home kit"
spiral equipment could be pur
chased for $10.00. Permanents at
that time cost S50.00 and up at a
beauty shop. The public soon
learned that professional training
was necessary to produce a good
permanent and the result was
"the home kit" soon fell by the
wayside.
And so it is today with "home
kit cold wave." It is just a matter
of time until the public will learn
that professional training is also
necessary to use cold waving solu
tion and that the professional cold
wave is improving with such speed
that the home kit will also be left
by the wayside.
Mrs. Evelyn Heinz and Mrs. Ruth
Craig recently visited Atlanta
where they conferred with authori
ties on cold waving. The percent
age of failures ana damage to hair
in cold waving, they explained, is
due to the operator's lack of
knowledge with respect to hair.
Cold waves are here to stay be
cause they last longer and they are
closer to the scalp.
Years of exhaustive testing of a
new oil solution which is being in
troduced into the Personality Beau
ty Shop will protect the ends of
the hair arid prevent them from
being brittle. This is the very
finest cold wave ever produced and
is brand new to this section of the
country.
It is the only permanent with
I which you -can successfully wave
