light at an intersection turned red
The women chatted while they
waited tor the signal to change.
It turned green. But the driver
made no effort to re-start her car,
She and her friend kept talking
I he light turned red. Still the
conversation continued. Then
green again.
The patrolman decided against
using his horn. He stepped from
his car to the window of the other
machine, and remarked:
"I'm sorry lady, but that is the
only shade of green we have. Please
drive on."

Press Agency reported from Graz
that Wilhelm Goetsch, professor
at the local university, had dis
covered a new type of vitamin
which, during experiments,
"caused weight increase of new.
born babies by 23 per cent."
The dispatch said it had been
learned that the vitamin, called
"Vitamin 5," causetTthe "gpe6Ww
of cellular assimilation with mam
mals and plants."
