Meeting Miss Gilliam To Be Guest Soloist At Club Meet Miss Anne Gilliam, soloist, of Cherokee, will present a group of numbers at the May meeting of the Waynesville Woman's Club which will be held Thursday after noon at Oak Park at 3:30 o'clock. Miss Gilliam will be accompanied by Mrs. Ross Caldwell, also of Cherokee. This will be the last meeting of the club until fall and annual re ports will be given by officers and committee chairmen. Hostesses for the afternoon are Mrs. James E. Boyd, Miss Margaret Johnston, Mrs. George McKinley and Mrs. Charles Ray. Officers Of Friendship Class Hold Meeting The officers of the Friendship class of the First, Baptist church held a business meeting Friday night at Springdale school with Miss Marina Phillips as hostess. Following the business meeting the group was entertained with a number of piano selections played by sol Cohen, music teacher of the school.
