KF.RR SCOTT Much capital has been made by Johnson supporters over W. Kerr Scott's calling for a second primary. The facts are as follows: In the first primary Johnson received 40 per cent of the votes cast, Scott 38 210 per cent and the others 21 810. Johnson therefore led Scott by less than two per cent. Around 85 thousand voters did not vote for either Scott or Johnson. Surely these voters have a right to express their choice between the two leading candidates. They demanded this right and called on Scott to call a second primary in order that a majority of the voters of the State might decide between the two. W. Kerr Scott is one of the State's outstanding farmers and business men. He stands for better roads and schools and for better living among our rural people. Vote for him on June ' 26th THE FARMER'S CANDIDATE. Th& space paid for by friends of W. Kerr Scott in Haywood County) What's Cooking?
