LOOKING FOR A
CLUB PUOJEC?
If your club is looking for a
special project this year, we hope
you will consider the following
items All of these things are
needed to niprove our present Li
brary Service.
1. A Record Player is needed
for our work with children in our
own Children s Room, in schools
and with our beginning Record
Collection, being sponsored by the,
Waynesville Music Club. Incident
ally, ve want lo
in earphones, thru the records
could be heard by two people with
out disturbing the other activities
of the library.
2 New Lie hi are badly needed
in the Adult Room downstairs If
you have ever tried to read there
on a dark winter day. then you
would understand that need. New
lights have already been installed
in the Children's Room and what
a difference they have made in the
way the boys and girls stay to
read.
3 Paint could be used in the
Children's Room, Adult Room, or
Reference Room. Need any more
be said just take a look!
4 Projected Book Machine
eiiid be used with our Hospital
Work. This machine throws the
book upon the ceiling and would
install two pluT heery useful for those unable to
hold up a book.
Ii A little sewing would com
plete our draperies for the Adult
Room Thev have been finished
for the Children's and Reference
Rooms. They are cut and tcady!
