Research Shows Indians "Outhear" White Men ALBUQUERQUE, N. M. (U.P.I There apparently is some truth to the old legend that Indians can hear better than white men. The Auricular Foundation of Las Angeles, which conducts research in sound, reports that Indian chil dren made a better record in hear ing tests than white children. William B. Hargrave, executive director of the foundation, said 700 Indian children took hearing tests at the U. S. Indian School here. The best hearers anions ihn Tnrti youths could detect sounds not audible to the best hen white children.
