Growers Will Be
Honored Saturday

Tobacco Growers
To Meet Here On
Wednesday, 16th
Tobacco specialists will discuss
the latest developments on burley,
and different varieties which are
best suited to Haywood conditions,
at a special meeting here Wednes
day night, at I 'M). The meeting
will be at the court house.
R. H. Bennett and S. N. Hawks,
extension tobacco specialists, will
be present and lead the discussion.
As a special feature of the meet
ing, colored slides will be shown
to illustrate their lectures on the
best methods of growing burley.
Wayne Corpening, county agent,
also announced that recommenda
tions as to the control of tobacco
diseases would be a part of the
program.

Will Hold Annual

dent of the organization.
