Sock Supper To
Be Held At East
Way'ville School
Have you ever attended a Sock
Supper? Well, if not, how is the
chance to attend one. The Parent
Teacher Association of East Way
nesville school are sponsoring a
Sock Supper next Friday evening
at the school.
The Sock Supper is very similar
to an old fashion box supper, in
other words, there will be a box
of some good eats along with the
sock.
There will be some professional
auctioneers to auction off one of
the socks to the bidders. When a
fellow buys a sock, then he has to
find the lady with the mate and
then the feast begins.
The Parent-Teacher Association
of the school are striving to make
the institution an accredited school,
and of course that takes a great
deal of finances, this being a part
of the way they are raising funds
this year.
. Committees hav been-at work
for several weeks preparing for
the event, and indications are there
will be plenty of young ladies with
delicious foods in the boxes just
waiting for someone to compare
socks with them.
The public is cordially invited
to attend and take part in this
novel event.
Miss Katherine Queen of Ral

the guest of her parents, Mr. and
