Girl Scouts To Hold Meeting Monday Night Next Monday evening, April 25. at eight o'clock the Girl Scout Troop No. 6. under the direction of Mrs. Myrtle Tappan and Mrs. Dwight Williams, co-leaders, will present a program on the "History, Ideals and Needs -of Girl Scout ing." The meeting will be in the Girl Scout Hut . Following the program there w ill be a candle lighting Investiture Service and presentation of Senior Scout pins. Lake Junaluska Organization Meeting Called A meeting has been called for 7:30 p.m. April 26 at the Lake Jun aluska School to start organizing the Lake Junaluska Community De velopment Program. G. C. Cooper, the school princi pal who announced the meeting, said letters have been sent to ap proximately 100 patrons of the school pointing out the need for organization of the program locally. He added that other letters would be sent to many other residents of the community. Legion Post To Hold Special Meeting Monday A special meeting will be held nf the Haywood American Legion Post Number 47 at 7:30 p. m. Mon day in the Legion rooms on the second floor of the Masonic Tem ple. Ernest Edwards, the commander elect of the Waynesville post, said the purpose of the meeting is to talk over the expenditure of part of (lie Post's building funds for completing the Memorial Plot in Green Hill Cemetery and to make necessary repairs on the Legion rooms in the Masonic Temple.
