The idea is to build-up a stock of
devices which enable crippled per
sons to get along' by borrowing
them when they cannot afford to
buy them at hih prices.
The first gifts include two wheel
chairs, a pair of crutches and sev
eral other items useful to the lame.
A police traffic sergeant, Robert
Funk, came up with the idea. He
aid that all too often crippled per
sons need to borrow such gear until
they can buy their own.
