Waynesville Soldier Qualifies As Clerk Private First Class Boyce Cook serving with the 155th Station Hos pital in Yokohama, Japan, has qual ified as an Army clerk. His unit is part of the U. S. Eighth Army. The Waynesville soldier, son of Mr. and Mrs A H. Cook, was in ducted in the arm yin January, 1947. and went overseas the fol lowing june. He was a student at Waynesville Junior High School. His new clerk's classification will help him advance under the Army's new Career Plan which is to govern all promotions of enlisted men and warrant officers.
