We are the heirs of the ages in things .spiritual. "It means that all laymen must acquire an inner fire of jeal and something of a martial spirit for the on-going of Christ's Kingdom. The goals have been set: 1.700.- ooii new members in the church school, two million new members of the church; one million youth recruits who will abstain from drinking alcohol and fifty million dollars to finance a world-wide Ad vance for Christ and his Church. "The need is for more than or ganization; more than the mere machinery; more than a slogan; more than a program. "The machine needs fuel, and Ihe fuel most needed is the power of God unlo salvation. Men are as much in need of God today as in any nay. "We need to act on our faith that Christ is as powerful, just a? surely the matchless pattern of a good life, and just as compassion ately anxious to save men as when he walked the shores of Galilee.
