Prizes of $5.00 each will be a- warded in three classifications the best commercial window, the best home window decoration, and the best outdoor home decoration. The decorations will be judged I during the week before Christmas. The club wil also sponsor a sale of Christmas decorations in the R. E. A. Building on Saturday. De cember 17. The decorations, to he made by the members, will include arrange ments for mantels, tables, and doors. Advance orders are being taken and special requests are be ing filled. Workshop To Be Held In Little Court Room A Handicraft Workshop wjll be held in the Little Court Room at the Haywood County Court House beginning next Monday at 9:30 m. The workshop, a project of the Community Development Program, will be under the direction of Miss Amy Woodruff of the craft edu cation program in Asheville. Classes will he held twice daily, from 9:30 to 11:30 a m. and from 7:30 to 9:30 p m.. each day through Friday. The work will be entirely in copper and the cost of the course will be only for materials used. Troy Lee Justice and Mias Hazel Franklin entertained with a miscellaneous shower in the home of Mrs. Justice, last Saturday eve ning, honoring Miss Geneva Ross, whose marriage to Joe Davis Siiiart took place on Sunday. Christmas decorations were used throughout the house and a tree was featured in the living room. The mantel was arranged with hol ly and red and white candles and the dining table held a centerpiece of red carnations.
