And false accounts of weddings seem to head the list of ail .such articles. This week we received a well written account of a wed ding. Since no name was signed to the article, we began our usual check-up, with no intention of publishing it until we had verified its authenticity by all persons concerned. Our investigation revealed the whole thing was a prank. Such pranks are serious. And since the mails were used, it makes the matter even more serious. It is such things that keep postal inspectors and federal courts busy. Such pranks also consume valuable time of reporters, as they investigate such articles for the truth. . Since this is the second time this has happened in about a year, it seems that it is time to prosecute the guilty parties, and make an example of them to would-be-offenders. (The young couple pulling this latest prank should have known better.) 4-H Schedule Is Announced " Miss Jean Childers, assistant home demonstration agent, has an. nounced the schedule of 4-H Club meetings for the first two weeks in February as follows: Feb. 2 Canton High, 10:05 a.m. Feb. 6 Cecil, 9:00 a.m.; Bethel Junior. 11:30 a.m. Feb. 7 wayncsville Senior, 8:45 a.m.; Fines Creek Junior, 10:45 a.m.; Crabtree Junior, 1:30 p.m. Feb. 8 Bethel Senior, 9:00 a.m.; Cruso, 10:45 a.m. Feb. 9 Beaverdam, 9:00 a.m.; Canton Junior, 10:00 a.m. Feb. 10 Morning Star, 9:00 a.m.; Clyde, 11:00 a.m. Feb. 13 Lake Junaluska, 9:00 a.m.; Rock Hill, 11:00 a.m. .
