" wivuuu at tiic The St John's Prom will lin ger long in the minds of all of those who attended last Mon day night . v . that was a dance that was Just perfect. " " To tell you all about the Prom and do Justice would be a very hard task, but I will try start ing with the decorations which could not be beat anywhere by anyone. The hall was decorated with dark blue crepe paper, having the top covered with a large sheet of. crepe paper with silver stars scattered on It. Coming from the top of both sides of the hall were small strips of the blue crepe paper reaching almost to the floor. Behind the crepe paper were the tables set up for parties of four. As you entered the nail you faced a beautiful white arch, covered with Ivy, with the moon shining behind ... then white flnwrs In front of each side of 4h omIi 'ITnder the arch was the throne, which was covered with royal blue . . . where Doll, the Queen, sat while she was be lnr crowned by Hallctt, the King, The theme for the Prom was Rln Mnnn. A rprnrd Dlaver furnished the music, but that certainly didn't keep anyone from having the lim nf their life. A- Dolf Kienast and Hallett Ward, Jr., were chosen as Queen and King, they reigned over the Prom. After the Grand March Dolf sat on the throne while Hallett placed a beautiful white crown made of lace on her head. Bette Hannah, maid of honor, carried the crown on a pale pink satin cushion. After the crowning of the Queen, everyone danced . . . and again I will say that every one enjoyed themselves more than they ever had before at a dance. : Our congratulations go to the Students or the St. John's high school " who " helped ." make " the plans for the Prom ... and es pecially to those who decorated the hall. The Prom was a huge success for not only the students of St. John's, but to their guests. ALL PLACES CATERING TO TOURISTS ready for nress n fnlrW listinir all places in srea.
