She was assisted in entertaining by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Curtis Russ. A color motif of pink and green was carried out in the details of the party and the long table, , at hich the guests Vere seated, was centered with a two-tiered birth- day cake. Camp And Workshop To Be Held In June A camp and handicraft workshop for home demonstration clubs in the western district; will be held at the 4-H Camp here, June 7, 8, 9. The camp will open for lunch on June 7, and will close following an afternoon session, June 9. Classes will be taught in metal craft, wood Carving, ceramics, rug hooking, broom making, and hand stenciling. Haywood County club members may attend the classes during the day provided they enroll for the entire course. They will not be ak lowed to drop in for odd sessions. But Mrs. Harry Hyatt knew he was with her in spirit Last Friday, she received a cable gram from him. It read: "Mother's Day greetings from the Indian Ocean." Ker son, Charles, is serving a board the USNS GeneraL Greeley en route to Melbourne, Australia. "That was the first we'd heard from him in two weeks," she ex plained, "he was in Egypt then, but we didn't know where he was after that until I received this cablegram." His ship is scheduled to reach Australia next Saturday.
