J"S - : " i 1,1 1 The FHA meeting Thursday afternoon was quite an interest ing one. Nell Scruggs had charge of Ue program. After the devo tional she had members of the cluB who made the trip to the district rally in Shelby tell about the trip. It was quite in teresting to those of us who couldn't make that trip. June Blanton told about the bus ride down there, followed by Braxton Crocker who told us about the morning session, Kuth Nichols then told us about the afternoon session. Mouriene Carver, president of Again this Friday night the Mountaineers and the cheering fans will board buses to take them to Marian for the last night game of the season. The Senior music Students Homeroom is sponsoring a bus, with Joyce Carter selling the receipts. They figure that they'll probably have to take two buses because the Military Band isn't going and that means that some of the band students will be go ing as cheering fans this time. These, bus trips are always loads of fun. The last one was to Elizabethton and It was sure fun (or at least the students said that they had a wonderful time). James Milllcan has the advantage of unarmed Robert Taylor n 4 tense scene from "Devil's Doorway," tfproing to the Strand The atre Sunday, Monday and, Tuesday. Julia Ann, Buz zy, Eileen, and Letitia the other. In the first quarter Julia Ann's team had a slight edge but at the end of the game Mary Ann's team won 30-27. Of course all this couldn't go on without the boys knowing. They thought they would really have a laugh, but I believe they agreed in the end that the girls played a pretty good game.
