Clark Medford of Waynesville, Sunday afternoon, January 28, at 3:00 o'clock in the West Canton Baptist Church. . . The Rev. Gay Chambers, pastor of the Spring Hill Baptist Church of Canton, officiated, using the double ring ceremony. A nroeram of wedding music was presented by Miss Peggy McCrack- en. Dianist. The traditional wed ding marches were used, and "To A Wild Rose" was played during the ceremony. Miss Norma French Bramlett. sister of the bride, and Carl Painter. Jr.. of Canton, sang "All The Things You Are" and "Al- Mr Painter sang The Lord's Prayer" as a benediction. The altar was decorated with fern and white carnations and flanked by candelabra intertwined with ivy and floor baskets of white gladioli. The bride, who was given in mar- riasp bv her father, wore a white satin gown with nylon net yoke, and fittpri hndice of a encon lace. The full circular skirt was covered with alencon lace and ended in a court train and her fingertip veil of imported illusion was attached tn a tiara nf seed pearls. Her only nrnampnt was a sincle strand of pearls belonging to her maternal grandmother. She carried a white prayer book, topped with white or chids and satin streamers. Jr., of Waynesville, sister-in-law of the bride; Miss Mary Mediorci, oi Wavnesville. sister of the bride groom; and Miss Frieda Hall of Canton, They wore gowns of mint ereen taffeta and net. with match ing capes and half-circlet halos of net and lilies-of-the-valley. They carried cascade bouquets of lemon yellow carnations and lilies-of-the- valley. Little Miss Anne Bramlett, sis ler ofthe bride was junior brides maid. She wore a gown of white dotted Swiss with matching bonnet, and carried a nosegay oi lemon vellow carnations scattered with lilies-of-the-valley and tied witn matching satin ribbons. The flower eirls, little Misses Mitzie Jean Hill and Carolyn Full bright., wore similar gowns and car- ripd white satin-covered baskets filled with rose petals. Mr. Medford had as his best man M. V. Bramlett, Jr., : "brother of the hride. Thp ushers were Noble Gar rett. Jr., Joe Calhoun, Bill Coch ran, Earl Gribble, Fred E. Martin Ir and Robert Hall ot Waynes ville; and Floyd Fullbrlght and Cromer Crisp of Canton. The rine-bearer was Master John Mnr.rarken. son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll McCracken of Lake Juna luska.
