Two societies have held meetings, and members of two other churches have visited the Countv Home The W.S.C.S. of Long's Metho dist Church met Thursday at the church. Mrs. Ralph Evans oresid ed in the absence of the president, .Mrs. Hascue Kinsland. Mrs. Bill Kinsland had charge of the program. The Rev. Asmond Maxwell spoke on "Alcohol and its Effect". After the program Mrs. Jesse Smathers- and Mrs. Roy Briggs served refreshments in the social room. Another W.S.C.S. meeting took place on Wednesday afternoon, when the women of Bethel Metho dist Church met at the home of Mrs. Gudger Worley, with Mrs. Fred Hyatt as co-hostess. In charge of the program was Mrs. James Edwards. Mrs. Lucille Terrill discussed the las: chapter of "Rural America". On Friday the Free Will Baptist Church of Canton had prayer meet ing with the old people at the County Home. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Pruitt haup installed an all-electric kitchen in their apartment and have reoalnt- ed the interior. Mrs. Albert Mease has DaintpH the interior of her home. . Students at Bethel High School - will hold their annual Junior-Senior Banquet this Friday night at the school.
