liny-wood bonds for the construc
tion of the 49-bcd expansion to
the Haywood Hospital sold this
week for an Interest rate of 2.1765.
This is considered by officials as
a rather low rate of interest for
the nrolert. The bonds woro bousht
by Klrchofer & Arnold Associates.
There ere seven bidders for
the bonds, which were authorised
by a vote of the people of Hay
wood about 18 months ago.
The sale of the bonds now gives
a crecn liuht for starting the pro
ject, which will take about 400
working days.
