at Camp Sehauh, as families of the
05 campers, enrolled are invited to
an "open house" after supper. Par
ents will have an opportunity to

to observe the progrmn planned for
the 4-H members from Haywood
and Mitchell counties who are at
tending the oeniir; week of the
1951 season.

quaintance of their new grand
child. The younger Burresses for
merly lived in Cruso but are now
living in Ohio.
Following the Ohio visit, Mr.
Burress went on to Montana, where
he expects to work.

CHEROKEE The call-board
went up at Mountainside Theatre
this week as rehearsals began for
the 1951 production of Kermit
Hunter's- Cherokee Indian drama,
"Unto These Hills".
From now until June 23, when
the opening performance is given,
there will be daylong rehearsals for
the 120-member cast.
Veteran Director Harry Davis
of the Carolina Playmakers is back
again and has th task of whipping
the cast into shape in less than
three weeks. . ,
For the enlarged cast, which in
cludes 35 Cherokee Indians, there
will be little "breathing time un
til the production is well under
way. For with the opening per
formance the drama will run 16
straight nights and thereafter six
nights weekly, Tuesday through
Sunday, until September 4.

as co-hostess, and the Aliens Creek
Club met Wednesday at the home
of Mrs. E. K. Chambers.

leigh, the Farm and Home Round
Up to be held in Cullowhee Aug
ust 22 and 23, and the county-wide
cooking school to be held in Can
