The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Burnette Mc Cracken of Mteggie and the bride groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Augustus de Simone of Devon. She wore a white organdy dress fashioned with a shirred bodice, a rose point lace bolero,; and full tiered sMrt caught up with white roses. Her fingertip veil of illusion was attached to a lace bonnet and her only ornament was a strand of pearls, gift of the bridegroom. She carried a bouquet of white roses centered with a white orchid. Mrs. Edwin Delmer Miller of West Chester was her sister's mat ron of honor. She wore a ballerina length .dress of lavender organdy fashioned like that of the bride with a matching net stole and hat. She carried a bouquet of orchid and purple asters. 'Miss Irene de Simone of Devon, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. She was dressed like the honor attendant;- ; ' 1 Joseph Ernest de Simone :' of Devon served as his brother's best man. Neal McCracken of Canton, cousin of the bride, was an usher. Following the ceremony a recep tion was held in the parlor of the church for the families and close friends. Assisting in serving were Miss Jean Galliene, Miss Patricia Smathers and Miss Anita Brooks. The mother of the bride wore a rose lace dress with black acces sories and a white orchid corsage. The bridegroom's mpther wore a dress of powder blue lace with black accessories and a corsage of white orchids. , ' After the reception the couple left for a wedding trip. Upon their return they will reside at Elon College. In addition to' the ball, which will be held in the Memorial audit orium in Raleigh, Friday evening, Miss Hanna,h and her mother will attend a number of social events planned for the debutantes. The program included luncheon at the Sir Walter Hotel Friday and a tea with Mrs. Gordon Grey as hostess Friday afternoon, a morning dance and luncheon at the Raleigh Country Club Saturday and a tea dance at the executive mansion. Miss Hannah will be guest of honor at a party late Friday after noon with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson and their son, Richard Johnson, and Wingate Hannah, all of Raleigh, as hosts. Mrs. Hannah will entertain for her daughter at dinner Saturday evening. ; Miss Hannah will have her brother, Wingate Hannah, as chief marshal and other marshals will be Bob Colkitt, Glenn Brown, and Hallett Ward, Jr. of Waynesville, and Richard Johnson of Raleigh.
