Pruett of Canton have announced the marri age of their daughter, Miss Bettie Allen Pruett, to Pfc. James Ever ett Turner, son of Mr, and Mrs. Robert S. Turner. Mrs. Turner Is a graduate of Bethel High School. Pfc. Turner is graduate of Waynesville High School and was employed at Ray's Flower Shop prior to entering the Army In December, 1950. Miss Joyce Harris, organist, and William Holloman, vocalist, pre sented the wedding music. The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-law, T. F. Miles, wore a gown of Duchess satin fash ioned with nylon net yoke, edged with Venetian lace fitted bodice. and tapered sleeves. The full bouf fant skirt extended into a cathedral train ana ner two-tiered fingertip veil of imported illusion was at tached to a Juliet cap of illusion and Venetian lace with pearl trim. She carried a prayer book topped with a while orchid and showered with stephanotis. Miss Dorothy Llttighon of New port News, was maid of honor. Mrs. Ledbetter, mother of the bride, wore a navy crepe dress with rhinestone trim and navy and white accessories. Her corsage was of purple orchids. The mother of the bridegroom wore charcoal grey crepe with rhinestone and velvet trim, green accessories, and a pur pie orchid corsage.
