Ala., hewly elected president of the Methodist College of Bish ops, southeastern Jurisdiction, will be the guest preacher at 11 a.m. Sunday services in the Lake Juna luska Assembly auditorium. The speaker at 8 p.m. will be Or. John K. Benton, dean of the Van derbilt University School of Reli gion. Nashville, Tenn. The serv ices will mark the annual "Junalus ka Sunday". Sunday will initiate a week-long series of platform speakers at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. in connection with a Conference of Christian Educa tion. sponsored by the Methodist General Board of Education. Speakers Monday in the auditor ium will be Dr. J. Emerson Ford, who will discuss "The Bible and Church School Literature" at the morning hour, and Dr. John Q. Schisler who will speak that night on "Christian Education in the Fu ture". Both men are members of the education board at Nashville. Dr. Schisler is executive secretary of the Division of the Local Church, and Dr. Ford is editor of youth publications in the Editorial Divi sion. Meanwhile, another platform hour will be presented at 3 p.m. dally next week at Shackford Hall, featuring Dr. Donald M. Maynard, professor of religious education at Boston University. His subject theme will be "Making Christian ity Meaningful to Children, Youth and Adults." The conference is a sidelight of the South-wide Leadership Train ing ^chool underway at Lake Juna luska for 400 church workers in the field of Christian education. Dean of the school is the Rev. M. Earl Cunningham, director of lead ership education for the Nashville \'V ;Y > ? " board. The school opened Monday and will continue through August 15. ? 1*1 II .11.
