Associate hostesses will be Mrs. N. W. Gar rett, Mrs. O. H. Shelton, and Miss Robina Miller. A Christmas program is being planned by Mrs' C. F. Kirkpatrick and Miss Nancy Killian. Gifts will be exchanged. Mrs. Roy Campbell will preside. ? * * Jimmy Swift has returned to Georgia Tech after spending the holiday weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Swift, sented the wedding music. The altar was decorated with floor baskets of white flowers against a background of woodwar dia fern, interspersed with wrought iron candelabra. The bride was given In marriage by her uncle, Hurey F. Jones of Durham. She wore a gown of white Chantilly lace and Skinner's satin fashioned with a fitted bodice, high round neckline with a round yoke of nylon marquisette, and long fit ted sleeves ending in points over the wrists. The full satin skirt end ed in a court train and her veil of silk illusion fell from a small lace cloche. She carried a cascade of white roses and gardinias centered with a white orchid. Mrs, C. G. Berkstresser of Cor pus Christi. Texas, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Johnson Hayes Linney of Atlanta and Mrs. Leon M. Killian, Jr. of Waynes vflle, sister of the bridegroom. The attendants wore floor length strapless dresses of mauve nylon tulle and satin with matching jackets and cloches. Mrs. Berk stresser carried a bouauet of as ters in shades of pink. The brides maids carried bouquets of asters shade4 .from orchid to deep pur ple Vickie Berkstresser, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Her dress was of white patterned after that of the bride. James Cannon of Dillsboro serv ed as best man and ushers were Johnny Linney of Atlanta, Sam Johnson of Raleigh, and Carol Grahl, and Wallace Brown of Waynesvllle. Mrs. Jones, mother of the bride, wore a waltz length dress of cin namon taffeta with matching ac cessories and an orchid corsage. The mother of the bridegroom wore a waltz length dress of rose crepe and lace with match ing accessories. Her corsage was also of orchids. For traveling the bride wore a blue suit with bead trim and matching accessories and the orchid from her bridal bouquet. Mrs. Alley attended the Chapel Hill High School and King's Busi ness College in Greensboro. She is presently employed by the Uni versity of -North Carolina as sec retary to Dr. I. G. Cheek of the Business Foundation of N. C. Mr. Alley attended Waynesville High School and Oak Ridge Mili tary Academy and is now In his second year Law School at the University of North Carolina. He la a veteran of two years' serv ice In the Korean war. The couple will reside at 741V4 E. Franklin St., Chapel Hill. ? * ? '* MR. AND MRS. S. W.
