The home was decorated with arrangements of iris, jonquils, -napdragon. and carnations and the tea table was centered with an antique blue Rlass epergne hold ing sweetheart roses, primroses and iris. Mrs. J. H. Howell. Jr. greeted the quests and Mrs. Jonathan Woody introduced them to the re ceiving line which was composed of the hostesses and honor guest. Mrs. J. E Fender received in the living room and Mrs. Charles Bay received at the entrance to the dining room. Presiding at the tea table was Mrs. Boyd Owen and as sisting in serving were Mrs. W. C. Norris.
