Lazarus, brother of Mary and Martha,
Jesus' friends in Bethany, became sick,

Then word came that Lazarus had died.
Jesus told His disciples that they should
go to the home of His friends in Beth
any, saying, "Our friend Lazarus sleep
eth; I go that I may awake him."
Hearing that Jesus was coming, Martha
went to meet Him. He told her, "Thy
brother shall rise again. He that believ
eth in Me shall never die. Believest thou
this?" Martha said, "You are Christ."
At the tomb the stone was roiiea away,
and Jesus called, "Lazarus, come forth!"
"Then he that was dead came forth,
bound hand and foot with grave clothes."
