Recent Brides . Are Honored In Cecil Section By MRS. J. EDGAR BURNETTE Community Reporter Mrs. C. R. Henson and Mrs. J. R. Henson, recent brides, were honored at a miscellaneous shower given by Miss Clara ilenson, Mrs. Hoy Reece and Miss Sarah Recce. Friday evening at the Springdale School The brides are sisters, the former Miss Betty Jean Rhinehart jtiid Miss Mirth Rhinehart of Cecil. Twenty guests were present and many lovely and useful gifts were received by the honorees. Delic ious refreshments were served by the hostesses. The Cecil Home Demonstration Club participated in the clinic held at the Cecil School and distributed favors of candy and balloons to all bnildren receiving vaccinations. Club members are also planning a tour of the Asheville Orthopedic tIonic next Tuesday. April 13. when they will make a donation of cann ed goods. Mrs. J. E. Burnette is in charge of this project and asks those who wish to go or to make a donation to call her. Money do nations will be used to buy canned 1 goods. Rapid progress is being made on l the new addition to the Riverside Baptist Church. It is hoped the I lassrooms will be ready in about thirty days. Mrs. Howard Reece, who entered the Haywood County Hospital eighteen days ago, is still a patient there and is enjoying having visi- : tors.
