The devotional was given by Mrs. Will Medford. The group planned a radio pro gram to be given in observance of National Home Demonstration Week, May 2-8 The committee in charge of the program includes: Mrs. John McClure. Mrs. Grover l.eatherwood. Miss Elizabeth Glos ser and Mrs. Clark Messer. The group voted to send two delegates to Farm and Home Week in Raleigh in June. Mrs. Andy Moody, Mrs. W. H. Burgin, and Mrs. J. W. Fowler were appointed as a committee for the club's achievement Day pro ject. Project leaders' reports were given by Mrs. Reed Robinson on Food Conservation, Mrs. Clark Messer on Family Life. Mrs. Andy Moody on' Home Beautification. and Miss Elizabeth Glosser on Home Gardens. The demonstration on "Every day Living Rooms" was given by! Miss Jean Childers, assistant home agent. Mrs. Medford Is Honored By Wesleyan Guild A district meeting of the Wes leyan Service Guild of the Metho dist Church was held Sunday after noon in the First Methodist Church of Sylva Mrs. Clark Medford of Waynes ville was presented a Life Mem bership pin in recognition of her loyal and devoted service in the Guild The presentation was made in a special ceremony which in cluded presentation of other Life Memberships.in the district. ^Members of the Waynesville church who attended the meeting were, Mrs. Oliver Yount. FOWLER Falrview Home Demonstration Club . * - . ??? - BF-F.F STROGANOYVFF 2 lbs. ground beef 3 medium onions (diced finei 2 medium dill pickles (diced fine! 2 cans mushroom soup (undilutedI M> pt. sour cream ? 4 tsp. fat, or more if needed In heavy skillet brown onions in fat, remove to use later. Place ground beef in fat and separate with fork, and keep turning until slightly browned. Return onions to beef mixture. Add diced dill pickles, and if moisture is needed to prevent sticking, use a little of the dill pickle juice. Add mushroom soup, mixing well. Allow to simmer for about 30 minutes.
