Dutch Cove Church Sets Homecoming By MRS ELDON BURNETTE Community Reporter There will be a homecoming day at the Dutch Cove Baptist Church in Morning Star Community on Sunday. Everybody is asked to come and to bring a basket of lunch. In tlie afternoon there will be quartet and group singing. Mr. and Mrs. Turner Smathers had as their guests over the week end their son-in-law and daugh ter and son. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Potter and Mr. Ramsey of Ten nessee. Mr, and Mrs. Scotty Rhodarmer of Chapel Hill spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Rhod armer. The Rev and Mrs. A. L. Max well of Murphy visited friends in Morning Star last week. Lt. Bill Rhodarmer. who is sta tioned at Ft. Campbell. Ky., and Mrs. Rhodarmer spent the week end with Lt. Rhodarmer's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Rhodarmer. Another son. C. V. Rhodarmer. remained for a ten-day furlough. Mrs. Wayne Burnette gave a cos metic party Friday morning at her home. Those pri sent were Mrs. 1 Tighe Smathers, Mrs J. W. Free- 1 man and Ava Jay Freeman, Mrs. ' Kldon Burnette and Mrs. Ray ? Burnette. ( Mr. and Mrs. Drew Phillips and ' ch.ldren spent Saturday in Lan- ' drum, S.
